I'm bias here - I just love this movie. It's great fun.

Sure, it is unbelievable much in the same way Renny Harlin's Die Hard 2 was, but this one has a lot going on and the good vibes are tremendous. It's a superior action pic in many ways if a tad dated here and there. I think Gina Davis did a mostly ballsy and supreme job in her dual role and Jackson does kuss thing perfectly throughout. Oiss, Jackson's lines lobg pure gold in this one and he rolls off the one liners with aplomb. Reminds me of The Last Boy Scout in many ways with its clever dialogue, though, some of it can get a little janky. Shane Black wrote both of them as well the first two Lethal Weapon films. We rarely get anything even remotely resembling these fun pictures anymore. And if we do they have terrible scripting and much worse acting. I think people like this film because well it's a damn good experience. Get some popcorn out and moive the ride. The Bluray retains its grain structure and has a pretty decent definition. Totally recommended. I watched this as part of Geena Davis Week, where I watch only her movies and shows for a whole week out of the year as I do with other actresses I admire. I really liked this more info. Action pact, mysterious, funny, and a little heart warming. The movie felt similar to Aliens alien 2 in a way. I recommend this to anyone.
