Around three-quarters of the way through, for me anyway - it got really good. As many others have written, the book is about an overweight 15 year old boy who is bullied at school. Because he doesn't have many friends, he spends a lot of his time at a local "bridge" - not a bridge for cars, but a "walking" bridge. It's this place that he's at when he witnesses a car "accident" that turns out to be much more than that. Moo is then questioned by the police, and he is mightily confused when some of these policemen would like him to tell the truth, while others would rather he embellished upon his story a bit. You get REALLY interested in this book, as I did, and then, as I was getting closer to the end - say, four to five pages away - How kissing feels like rain book cover image said to myself, something better happen soon here.

The accused murderer is a famous gangster who has been set up by others to take the fall.
