She is a nerd who speaks in movie quotes and as the title says, she's never been kissed. She struggles a lot throughout the book with her self-image and has very little confidence in herself. I really really really liked Sera. But damn did that girl get on my last freaking nerve sometimes. The only thing that really annoyed me was the bad editing. That really needs to be fixed. I love how she called her out instantly on her actions and pushed her to take a chance. That's all love asks of anyone - To take a chance. You aren't gonna know if this person could be the one unless you take a chance.
Yeah, it may be scary but at the end of the day, knowing that the fear is there should motivate you to reach for that courage even more. In the end, it'll be worth it, and that very fear should be thanked. Cannot wait to read her story :D Overall, this book was entertaining, intense and endearing all at once. It balanced out. And everyone had their happy ending. Hunter and Sera accepted each other for who they were. Separately they may have been "imperfect" but together, like missing pieces forming, they became whole - they became perfect. The heroine was annoying and so was the hero.
They were just unlikeable. The kid was cute and from what I did read of the heroines friend she was fine. To scrub recipe make lip ways absolutely could not make it that far in the book. The behavior of both MC put me off. It was only the heroine pov so I was stuck in just one annoying head that was always downing everything except the kid. As you can guess by the title of the book, Never Been Kissed, is about a woman, Sera, who has never been kissed or touched by a man before. In other words, pure as the driven snow. The dude ran hot and cold, from smiling to scowling within seconds. Later on, we learn the reason for his behavior and while I get it, it's not something completely understandable.
