I love the covers of the books in the series I find they look summery. This book 2. Except that she finds herself stuck in California and without him it's not the same as it used to be. A book read in one go, so much so that I hooked on the story, so captivating, addictive, full of suspense and twists and turns with characters that are as endearing as ever.

For brevity's sake, I will limit my review to one main reason it was terrible: it was written by a 17 year old girl. The writing was ok I'm being generous, because she is after all The main problem is a 17 year old girl can't write realistic fiction realistically. The author writes about exactly the kind of world that a 17 year old THINKS they live in: no rules, no accountability, no consequences. Honestly, this whole book was just making out, screaming at each other, fighting, and characters acting like all around stereotypical abusive teenagers. To put it simply. To add to that, I found quite a few typos and grammatical errors, and the author's writing style wasn't good to begin with. So you're adding some cheap bones to that house. Then, to top it all off, this book is problematic in terms of the main character keeps deciding to come back to an unreliable, abusive idiot. So obviously our house fell down. To start this book off, we have Elle and Liam lay around not doing anything, cracking offensive jokes that rely on gender standards. So that was a fun twenty percent. Then, the kissing booth starts to come into play and they talk about it more and more and you have some more jokes about how boys can't wear dresses and girls can't like masculine things.

Unfortunately, my calculator does not compute these highly unrealistic, just simply stupid events. So we're just going to talk about why this is problematic. Basically, Noah's been going around telling boys that he'll hurt them if they ask Elle on a date.

I have been a Wattpad member since and never heard of it, and I'm kinda upset I hadn't because it was actually a really interesting book. Though, I enjoyed the film more I think because the storyline in the movie was more emotional considering it was VERY different than the book. Though, it did have its similarities.

I found that a few lines between the two were shared, which made me super excited. He always seemed to be misunderstood from the beginning, and I think since that was his development him not being who everyone thinks, kinda I kind of grasped it from the start, so by the progression, it didn't surprise me when he did other stuff away from the 'cliche' which made it more cliche haha. I kind of liked Elle, like I felt a connection to her when she would speak, how she would act - I felt like I understood her reasoning for her actions and all. She was a good protagonist. But that's literally all I can say about her. She was cliche. Give it a bit of a twist?
